 ASSAM MEGHALAYA (shillong) TOUR PLAN (1N Guwahati, 2N Kaziranga, 2N Shillong, 1N Guwahati)

Day 1: Arriving at Guwahati

When you arrive in Guwahati, Checking to your hotel to stay overnight. also you can check out the city.

Day 2: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (Approx. 193 Km)

After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple, a popular Hindu pilgrimage. During the Ambubashi festival, the temple is filled with more than a million dedicated people. After honoring the mother goddess Kamakhya, head back to the hotel and hit the road to Kaziranga National Park. When you arrive, check into the Jungle reservation. Check out the nearby Tea Estate in the afternoon followed by a cultural show in the evening. Stay overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 3: Kaziranga

In the morning, at about 5.30am, check out the central and eastern range of Kaziranga National Park via Elephant and Jeep safari respectively. Later, head back to the hotel for lunch and proceed to explore the western range of this wildlife sanctuary by jeep. Stay overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 4: Kaziranga-Shillong (Approx. 293 Km)

In the morning, take a trip to Shillong (280 kilometers in six hours). Along the way, have lunch at BorapaniUmiam Lake, a peaceful lake surrounded by sylvan hills. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, check out the local market. Overnight at hotel in Shillong.
Day 5: Shillong

After breakfast, we will visit Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in India about 80 kms from Cherrapunji and just a picturesque village; there are interesting things like a living root bridge and a beautiful visual rock that stands out on another rock. After this, we will visit Dawki Lake. Dawki offers a beautiful view of the Meghalaya country. The area is a great place to look at Page and Jaintia Hills. Overnight at hotel in Shillong.

Day 6: Shillong- Cherrapunji - Guwahati (approx. 100 Km)

After breakfast in the morning on the road to Cherrapunji, the world's largest rainforest. Visit Noh-Ka-Likai and a few caves in Cherrapunji and nearby. Later, head back to Shillong. Along the way, visit Shillong Peak and Elephanta Falls. take lunch and proceed to Guhatihati.

Day 7: Travel

Today, you will be transferred to the airport for a return flight.
